Boğsak is a small beach place 98 km from the center of Mersin, 10 km from Tusucu, next to the Antalya-Mersin highway. It is conditionally divided into two beaches, the first one, judging by google maps, is called Boğsak Halk Plajı, the second one – I don’t know. It used to be one beach with a river in the middle, and then it was divided by breakwaters.

Theoretically, if it weren't for the dirt and crampedness due to local campsites, hotels and other private areas, because of which there is simply nowhere to throw a towel near the water on these small beaches, this place could be a good beach destination.
This is a great place to swim in calm waters. Since Bosak is located in the bay, which is covered from the sea by the island of the same name, even with wind and waves it will be comfortable here. The entrance to the water is sandy in places, sandy-pebbly and rocky in places. I advise you to wear safety shoes on rocky areas.

I was here once in mid-July, it was very crowded, a large number of cars were parked along the beach, they stand in close proximity to the water, as I wrote above – because it is very crowded here and there is not enough parking for everyone.
It's dirty by the water, vacationers shit where they swim and it doesn't bother anyone.

Small boats depart from the local pier for boat trips around the island and fishing.
You can stop here once on the way, but I don’t recommend stopping here for rest if you are by car, there are several other more interesting places in the area.
