 Direct flights between Muscat and Bangkok will open in December

Omani budget carrier SalamAir announced the launch of a direct flight between Muscat and Bangkok with a frequency of three times a week. The program starts on December 18, 2022.

Flights from Muscat depart on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays, while return flights from Bangkok are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The route must meet the high demand for leisure and tourism on both sides.

Bangkok is SalamAir's second destination in Thailand. With its advent, travelers will have more options to diversify their vacation. They can book a flight to Phuket and return home from Bangkok, or vice versa.

The new direction marks the airline's further expansion into Southeast Asia. There is high demand on this route in both directions. For people living in Oman and those who want to take advantage of connecting flights, this is a convenient non-stop flight to Bangkok for a dream vacation, shopping, relaxation or medical tourism.

The carrier currently operates six A320neos and four A321neos. The flight between Muscat and Bangkok takes about 6 hours.
