From December 1 to December 15 and December 31 to March 26, EK648 will depart Dubai daily at 16:10 and arrive in Colombo at 21:55 local time. Between December 16 and 30, this flight will change its route slightly, making an intermediate landing in Male. During these two weeks, the departure time from Dubai — 10:30, landing in Male at 14:45. EK648 will then depart Colombo at 05:15 PM and land at its final destination at 07:15 PM.From December 1 to March 26, EK649 will depart Colombo at 02:55 AM and arrive in Dubai at 05:55 AM.
For flights to Colombo, Emirates will supply a modern Boeing 777-300ER with three cabins: private suites in first class, seat-beds in business class and spacious economy class. During the flight, passengers will be offered regional cuisine and free drinks, as well as the ice flight entertainment system — up to 5,000 channels in over 40 languages, including movies, TV shows, an extensive music library, games, audiobooks and podcasts.
