Ethiopian Airlines and Boeing celebrate 10 years of Africa's first 787 Dreamliner

Over the past decade, Ethiopian Airlines, which celebrated its 75th anniversary last year, has used the 787's unique capabilities to grow its network of long-haul flights around the world. During this time, the airline's hub in Addis Ababa has become one of the leading points of international transportation in Africa. Ethiopian Airlines was the first airline on the continent to adopt the 787 and today operates a combined fleet of twenty-seven 787–8 and 787–9 aircraft that play a key role in its long-haul fleet. 

Within Boeing unveiled the design of the Dreamliner exhibit at the Ethiopian Science Museum. Visitors to the museum will see a variety of things and objects symbolizing the achievements of Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines, including the 787 Dreamliner simulator.
