We arrived only at three o'clock in the afternoon, ordered a taxi, for some reason Yandex hung up in Nizhny Novgorod, worked slowly. We chose the hotel in the historical part of the city. Ride 35 minutes, cost 485 RUB. During this time, you will have time to explore the sleeping and industrial areas of the city. The hotel was chosen by the “Diplomat” (Bolshaya Pecherskaya, 26), it did not deceive our expectations: the room is comfortable, clean, there is a tea set, drinking water. Breakfasts are a buffet. Very tasty, lots to choose from. Circular tram number 2 passes by the hotel. The Kremlin and the cable car are within walking distance. The hotel cost us 4 thousand per night for two.

In order not to waste time, we booked an evening sightseeing tour of the city at home. Unfortunately, it was raining that day, but we were full of optimism. Bus tour for 3 hours, costs 800 RUB per person. But with the guide, no luck at all: the story is uninteresting, fragmentary information. But we managed to visit Strelka (the confluence of the Oka and Volga), Fedorovskaya Embankment, Chkalov Stairs, and make a promenade along the evening local Arbat – Bolshaya Pokrovskaya.
