This means that guests of this emirate will have reduced mandatory expenses, and they will be able to spend more on yourself and on tourist services: visiting museums, paying for excursions, buying souvenirs, etc.
To be specific, from September 1 in Abu Dhabi:
- Tourists will not pay 15 dirhams (a little over 400 rubles) municipal tax daily;
- Tourist tax will be reduced by 2% when checking into a hotel;
- In restaurants at hotels for foreigners will operate 10% discount. Given that the average dinner for two in hotel restaurants costs about 150 dirhams, the discount will be approximately 15 dirhams (the same 400 rubles).
According to the most conservative estimates, Russians will be able to “save” ; these discounts are more than 1,500 rubles for two daily.
The Department of Culture and Tourism of the UAE hopes that even such seemingly insignificant discounts, and only in one emirate, will contribute to the further growth of the tourism industry, which has recently time is actively developing in this country.
