Beaches in Kizkalesi
There are two beaches here — Müze beach (family beach) and Kızkalesi Halk Plajı (wide public beach), they are separated by a small rocky blotch where cafes are located.

Müze beach
You can go to Müze beach either along the road from above or through the territory of the cafe. Sunbeds and umbrellas are paid. The entrance to the sea is sandy. The water near the shore is a little unclear due to the sand. Vacationers – families with children.
We were alone with a friend, and the guard said that we can rent a sun lounger, there will be no problems, because he sees that we are decent people))) But I didn’t really like this beach, so we went to the big beach. cija-cb41d33.jpg” alt=”Kizkalesi — photos, everything about beaches, and how to get there | Turkey” />

Kızkalesi Halk Plajı Beach
This wide beach has several different areas where you can rent a sun lounger and an umbrella. Including this can be done on the beaches of hotels, the guys there do not mind earning extra money. We took two sun loungers and an umbrella on the beach of the Barbarossa Hotel for 100 liras (summer 2023).
Kızkalesi Halk Plajı
The entrance to the sea is gentle, sometimes small plastic can float in the water near the shore, but even near the shore it is almost always transparent.

Paths on the beach of Kizkalesi
There are protective buoys, and also on the right side there is a large rental of all kinds of water activities – a banana, a parachute, etc.
There are always a lot of vacationers, and often they are pigs – plastic glasses, bags, cigarettes, all this is lying around in the evening on the beaches in large numbers. There are few foreigners – mostly Russian relocants who come here from Mersin for the day. photos, everything about beaches, and how to get there | Turkey” />

Ka Binks and showers at Kızkalesi Halk Plajı
There are showers and changing cabins on the beach. They work up to 7 hours guaranteed, and then as lucky. If closed, many restaurants on the first line of the beach have showers for guests.
Tips and life hacks
This is a purely Turkish resort. The contingent is working class from the southeast of Turkey, so the beach on holidays and weekends is noisy and can be dirty. In the evening, the town turns into a Turkish Las Vegas – on the embankment it becomes very noisy from people and restaurant singers, & nbsp; and crowds of people walking. There is a night club on the beach. Many outdoor tattoo parlors.
Restaurants on the first line near the embankment and the beach is 30% more expensive than the road. The quality is the same almost everywhere.
The merchants near the beach deceive foreigners – for example, you specify the price of ice cream in advance, they say one thing, but write off more from the card. Or, for example, an umbrella from merchants in the shops closest to the beach costs 400 lire, although you can usually buy it for 200-220.
You can sail to the fortress by boat – there is a pier to the right of the beach and cashiers are sitting in front of it, selling tickets. — photos, all about beaches, and how to get there | Turkey” />
Ships that take tourists to the fortress
DO NOT buy colored ice-juice in glasses that are carried along the beach. What has melted and not sold, they pour back, mix and sell in the second round. We saw it with our own eyes.
In the evening he goes to sit in a cafe located on a rocky elevation between two beaches. The backlight lights up there – cozy and beautiful.

How to get to Kyzkalesi from Mersin
Ky zkalesi is located 55 km from Mersin Marina. You can get here by car, minibus (Mersin-Silifke) or bus number 170. The fare on the minibus is ~ 50 lire. The minibus goes about 60-70 minutes, the bus – about 1.5 hours.
Being in Mersin – if you want to ride sitting, then you need to sit down before the Forum stop, otherwise it is highly likely that the bus will be full and you will stand for an hour. I always get along at this stop: Cumhuriyet, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Blv. No:292/A (look in google maps).
Being in Kyzkalesi – if you take a minibus at a bus stop, there is a high probability that you will not get a seat. Step back along the road for 200-300 meters (towards Migros), the minibus will stop anyway, there is a chance that you will take a place so as not to drive for an hour standing.
This is how the minibus stop in Kyzkalesi looks like (on the map at the beginning of the post I marked where this stop is):

P.S
Kyzkalesi is in 4th place in my TOP-5 of the best beach spots in Mersin province. First place – Toslaklar Koyu, second – Yapraklı Koy Plajı, third – Anemurium Antik Kenti, fourth – Kızkalesi, fifth – Sultankoy Halk Plajı.
