Barite Falls” and ensured the safety of travelers on all tourist routes of Karachay-Cherkessia using smart GPS trackers.
Interactive audio guide “Arkhyz. Barite Falls» begins in the center of the Arkhyz village and leads the traveler to the Barite Falls, which is located right on the slopes of the Abishira-Akhuba ridge. MTS also provided the subdivisions of the Ministry of Tourism and Resorts of Karachay-Cherkessia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic with fifty GPS trackers that will help travelers stay in touch with lifeguards during hikes and walks on numerous hiking routes of the republic. The trackers will automatically inform rescuers about an emergency situation, for example, if a tourist deviates from a given route, is motionless for a long time, falls or presses the SOS button on the device.
