Narlıkuyu is a small bay between Akkum and Yapraklı Koy Plajı beaches. The entire coast here is built up with fish restaurants, because of this, the bay is often called a fishing bay. It's crowded on weekends. There are a lot of expensive cars in the parking lots.

I didn't like it as a beach place. Now I’ll explain why:
Firstly, it smells of cooking food everywhere.
Secondly, it is difficult to call the water in the sea at the beginning of the bay ideally clean, again because of the neighborhood with a lot of restaurants. In addition, here in the bay there is an underwater cold spring, so the water is a little colder.

Thirdly, there is no beach with sunbeds and umbrellas as such, vacationers either huddle on a concrete platform, swimming from it, or enter the water along sandy beach from restaurants. Restaurants have been “sticky” at every step, and they have forgotten to arrange a place for a beach holiday.
It makes no sense to specially go here from Mersin, especially without a car.
