Why is it called Prince Charles Bay?
The reason why this place is called Gökçevlik (Gökçevlik), located in the Bozyazi district of Mersin , called Prince Charles Bay, is where Prince Charles and his friends camped here in the 1970s, consisting of about 40 tents. And after in 1999, Prince Charles, who really liked the bay, came here again with his yacht, the name Gökçevlik became known as Charles Bay.
