The Qatari authorities have clarified the detailed entry procedure for foreign tourists due to the easing of covid restrictions, Qatar Tourism reported.
Currently, a vaccination certificate is no longer required to enter the country. However, all travelers over 6 years of age are still required to provide a negative PCR test result taken no earlier than 48 hours before departure, or an antigen test no older than 24 hours.
In addition, all tourists must register on the website of the Ministry of Health of the country.
Qatar has maintained strict covid restrictions longer than other countries in the Persian Gulf. In many respects, such caution was due to the fact that the country will host the World Cup next fall.
