Russians will have another opportunity to get to Europe with one connection

Budapest Airport has announced another major expansion of its route network: Air Serbia is launching regular flights to Belgrade. The first flight should take place on March 13, 2023. The Serbian national airline will initially operate 15 flights a week, and will increase the frequency to 17 flights weekly by the high summer months.

The carrier promises excellent connections from Budapest via Belgrade to popular tourist destinations including Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus and the USA.

As for Russian citizens, they will get another convenient way to fly to Schengen. There are no direct flights between the cities of Russia and Europe today, but flights from Moscow — Belgrade — Moscow runs regularly.

The airport in the Serbian capital promises to be a popular connecting point between east and west with minimal loss of travel time.
