Despite its modest size – its width is about 80 meters, there is an opportunity to rent a sun lounger and an umbrella, and there is also where to eat. The only negative is a noisy road nearby.
The beach is sandy, the entrance to the sea is gentle and also sandy. There are protective buoys. A feature of Sultankoy Halk Plajı is that cold springs beat here, so sometimes you can get into cold areas in the water, but this does not interfere with swimming.
You can get here from Mersin by bus number 170 or minibus (Mersin-Silifke), travel time is about an hour. The fare is ~ 50 lire. On the way back, it’s difficult to leave by minibus, with a 99% probability you will have to stand, since there are usually no more places, passengers fill it in Kyzkalesi.
The easiest way is to leave the car on the opposite side of the road to the beach, and go here through overpass.
