In line with growing consumer demand next year, Portuguese flag carrier plans to increase the number of flights to the US by another 10 flights a week: to Boston — up to 14, in Miami and Washington — up to 10, and in Chicago and San Francisco — 5 flights each.
TAP will also increase the number of flights to Brazil with six new weekly flights: Sao Paulo will increase to twenty, Belo Horizonte — to seven, six to El Salvador and Brazil and four to Belém.
Flights from Lisbon to Caracas will increase from two to three per week, strengthening the airline's position in Venezuela.
Growth transatlantic flights from Lisbon is critical to TAP, and plans are already being made for a new hub in Porto.
